At the end of each course (Spanish) we come festejando the digital beginning from HaD, in 1999, although our beginnings as specialized international academic network in the debate, history and the historiography, dates from the I Congress of 1993 July.

The next year we will celebrate, then, the X general Anniversary of HaD (ideas are accepted). In the successive thing there will be only a birthday as a balance of the inseparable actual and digital activities.

During this third year, H-Debate has continued growing, now we are 1290 of 45 countries in the general list, 312 of 24 countries in the list of Immediate History and, like newness, 127 of 18 countries in the list of the Manifest Group. There are countries where the messages of HaD arrive already at the history departments of all the universities.

Many colleagues still do not participate in the debates, by timidity cybernetics or infravaluation of this means, that she conditions the message (brief, spontaneous) and the diffusion (enormous, transnational), but all, in greater or smaller measurement, we participated in the "HaD style", that we have helped to create and that distinguishes of other classic forms of academic communication and association to us interest by everything what is history, by the methodology, the historiography and the office of historian, by opinions different from ours, further on always of the specialized, local, individual horizon... We are already, objectively, an academic community again type.

We have made in this year III new actual activities that open new digital possibilities and to this young historiográfico movement that advances with the globalización (alternative). The successful campaign of academic solidarity with Raul Dargoltz, who has to us wakes up the conscience on which we can obtain united, in please history and of the historians, without stopping being diverse. The elaboration and diffusion of the historiográfico Manifesto of HaD, that it defines to us as Latin historiográfica tendency of global projection. First results of the Survey the International "the State of History" that demonstrate that HaD rests on the amplest one and dynamic strip of the international historiography that watches towards the future without making tablar it strickles of the past (historiográfico). The consolidation of the good level of our debates, thanks also to the campaign against the anonymous and semianonymous messages, level that is reaching also to list HI as it is seen in the debate on Chávez. The presentations and meetings of HaD that we have celebrated east course 2001-02 in Sea of the Silver, Buenos Aires, Conception of Uruguay, Lima, Albacete, Toledo, Real City, Lérida, Cadiz, Bogota '... The beginning of the decentralization of our global network that supposes the Seminary on the Manifesto of next the 29 of June in the Slaughter, Buenos Aires, that permitira, if the example spreads, to harness with local and national experiences our global, underused historiográfica community in this and other aspects.

We can assure, with pride, that the academic scope of the history does not exist in a, Latin and nonLatin, a thematic network like HaD that combines lists of distribution with the Web, and both forms of digital communication, with a historiográfico project that ties the debate with the investigation and the reflection through macrocongresses, that it generates with the aid of hundreds of historiográficas alternative colleagues for the new century.

By all it, from Santiago de Compostela we congratulated to all and all in this ours third digital birthday with the desire of which, within a year, we are many plus which we celebrate the X Anniversary in world better.

Queridos amigos y amigas de HaD

A finales de cada curso (español) venimos festejando el inicio digital de HaD, en 1999, aunque nuestros comienzos como red académica internacional especializada en el debate, la historia y la historiografía, datan del I Congreso de julio de 1993.

El próximo año celebraremos, pues, el X Aniversario general de HaD (se aceptan ideas). En lo sucesivo habrá un sólo cumpleaños a modo de balance de las inseparables actividades presenciales y digitales.

Durante este tercer año, H-Debate ha seguido creciendo, ahora somos 1290 de 45 países en la lista general, 312 de 24 países en la lista de Historia Inmediata y, como novedad, 127 de 18 países en la lista del Grupo Manifiesto. Hay países donde los mensajes de HaD llegan ya a los departamentos de historia de todas las universidades.

Muchos colegas todavía no participan en los debates, por timidez cibernética o por infravaloración de este medio, que condiciona el mensaje (breve, espontáneo) y la difusión (enorme, transnacional), pero todos, en mayor o menor medida, participamos del "estilo HaD", que hemos ayudado a crear y que nos distingue de otras formas clásicas de comunicación y asociación académicas interés por todo lo que es historia, por la metodología, la historiografía y el oficio de historiador, por opiniones distintas a las nuestras, más allá siempre del horizonte especializado, local, individual... Somos ya, objetivamente, una comunidad académica de nuevo tipo.

Hemos realizado en este año III nuevas actividades que abren nuevas posibilidades digitales y presenciales a este joven movimiento historiográfico que avanza con la globalización (alternativa). La exitosa campaña de solidaridad académica con Raúl Dargoltz, que nos ha despierta la conciencia sobre lo que podemos conseguir unidos, en favor de la historia y de los historiadores, sin dejar de ser diversos. La elaboración y difusión del Manifiesto historiográfico de HaD, que nos define como tendencia historiográfica latina de proyección global. Primeros resultados de la Encuesta Internacional "El Estado de la Historia" que demuestran que HaD descansa sobre una amplísima y dinámica franja de la historiografía internacional que mira hacia el futuro sin hacer tablar rasa del pasado (historiográfico). La consolidación del buen nivel de nuestros debates, gracias también a la campaña contra los mensajes anónimos y semianónimos, nivel que está alcanzando asimismo a la lista HI como se ve en el debate sobre Chávez. Las presentaciones y reuniones de HaD que hemos celebrado este curso 2001-02 en Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Concepción del Uruguay, Lima, Albacete, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Lérida, Cádiz, Bogotá... El inicio de la descentralización de nuestra red global que supone el Seminario sobre el Manifiesto del próximo 29 de junio en La Matanza, Buenos Aires, que permitira, si cunde el ejemplo, potenciar con experiencias locales y nacionales nuestra comunidad historiográfica global, infrautilizada en este y otros aspectos.

Podemos asegurar, con orgullo, que no existe en al ámbito académico de la historia, latino y no latino, una red temática como HaD que combine listas de distribución con la web, y ambas formas de comunicación digital, con un proyecto historiográfico que vincula el debate con la investigación y la reflexión a través de macrocongresos, que genera con la ayuda de cientos de colegas alternativas historiográficas para el nuevo siglo.

Por todo ello, desde Santiago de Compostela felicitamos a todos y todas en este nuestro tercer cumpleaños digital con el deseo de que, dentro de un año, seamos muchos más los que celebremos el X Aniversario en mundo mejor.
