ABSTRACTS OF THE CONVERSATIONS
THAT TOOK PLACE IN
THE I VIRTUAL CONGRESS
(14-18 OF 1999 JULIO)With experimental character, during the days in which took place the II Congress the International "History under Debate", we have organized in Internet the I Virtual Congress "History under Debate", from Room 6 of the Palacio de Congresos de Galicia, through the server of chat of the Centro de Supercomputación de Galicia (CESGA).
We offer an abstract of the things that said there, not without before warning that the unmannerliness of this wonderful way of communication in real time, and our lack of experience, has produced a fluid interchange but, without a doubt, unreliable person in excess of commentaries and ideas, between participants in Santiago and other colleagues which they managed to enter chat, that, yet, can have its interest by its spontaneity, and, mainly, face to prepared future experiences with more time. Faithfuls to the office we give, then, to know history chat "as it was", although, here, really, the means are the message.
