Biografía e Historia

Dear Colleagues,

I note Boris Berenzon Gorn's recent e-mail on biography & history. I am also working on comparing the concerns of the biographer with those of the historian. I would welcome any thoughts on how both forms can be related and what each form can learn from the other. I work from the assumption that both history and biography are essentially literary and cultural practices. This does, of course, raise the significant issue of the epistemological status pf history.

Best wishes
