Support strongly, formacion not of a panel, but of several (if it is possible) for the Latin participation in History to Debate. I am a Mexican historian-sociologist, which I am in sabático year in Canada by a year, and am convinced, that a theoretical-methodologic debate makes lack on Latin proposals and their insertion in the international context, of like understanding changing and worrisome the world that we at the moment faced most of countries of Latin America.
Perhaps their expositions to initiate this debate seem to me very interesting, could be added other proposals, originating of Latin historians such. As for me, I am in the best disposition to participate in the same one, as a result of my experience of ten years treating to combine the histórico/sociológico understanding of the Mexican social reality. My specialization is history and the union present time of the unions in the Mexican border with the United States, specially in assembly plants. At the moment, I make a comparative study between Canada and Mexico, in where the historica part, plays a role central.
