Querido Carlos y queridos amigos de HaD,me parece particularmente interesante el debate que abren, la respuesta de María Alba Pastor, que suscribo en buena medida, me resulta sin duda idónea para uno de los posibles cauces del debate. Compromisos de diversa índole me impiden por el momento extenderme en este apasionante tema, así que mi mensaje de hoy es más bien un decirles "presente" y prometer en breve una respuesta decorosa que contribuya en algo a este debate y al transfondo fundamental que me identifica profundamente con ustedes: el de la necesidad de rescate y renovación teórico-metodológicos y la búsqueda, como dice Carlos Barros, de este paradigma común, que no único, sustentado en los consensos posibles y reales entre la comunidad crítica de historiadores.

We are conscious of the difficulties that an important part of the HuD list has to follow the " Latin debates " by the idiomatic problems. We have decided to from now on send translations to them to the English of the messages that arrive to us in Spanish. One is not good translations but we think that they will be enough to include/understand the essential of the debate. The previous messages also are going away to translate the English and to place in our page Web. HuD is a global project. We are open to your participation in this Latin debate, and to your proposals of new subjects in English, French and other languages. Thank you very much by your collaboration.

Dear Carlos and dear friends of HaD, the debate seems to me particularly interesting who open, the answer of Maria Alba Shepherd, that I subscribe largely, is to me without a doubt suitable for one from the possible channels of the debate.
