Seguindo o acordado pola Conferencia de Rectores de Universidades españolas (C.R.U.E.) o pasado día 21, a Universidade de Santiago de Compostela súmase á convocatoria de paro silencioso omércores 26 ás 12,00 horas da mañá.

DECLARACION DE LA CONFERENCIA DE RECTORES DE LAS UNIVERSIDADES ESPAÑOLAS (CRUE) La Conferencia de Rectores de las Universidades Españolas, reunida en Asamblea Plenaria en el día de hoy, ha conocido el atentado contra la ciudadanía que ha sufrido el pueblo de Madrid y,ante ello, quiere manifestar:

Que la Universidad, ámbito de respeto, libertad, dignidad y tolerancia, se siente comprometida en la denuncia de hechos como éstos, lamentablemente frecuentes en nuestra democracia, que además de violar brutalmente el derecho esencial a la vida e integridad de los ciudadanos -y hemossufrido en nuestras carnes esta tragedia- supone un atentado al ejercicio de la expresión de las ideasen libertad para la democrática construcción de nuestro modelo de convivencia social.

No queremosque la modesta, pero firme, expresión de nuestras palabras que, estamos seguros representa elsentir común de alumnos, profesores y cuantos trabajan en nuestra Comunidad Universitaria,se acalle por la prepotente ignorancia de unos pocos.Por ello, además de trasladar nuestra condolencia y solidaridad a las víctimas y sus familiares, convocamos a todas nuestras Universidades y Centros a un paro silencioso, de 5 minutos de duración, que tendrá lugar simultáneamente en todos ellos, el próximo miércoles 26 de enero a las 12 h.

El respecto, la razón y la libertad son y seguirán siendo nuestra propuesta permanente a la sociedad española.

Quiet unemployment of the Spanish universities

According to the decided thing by the Conference of Directors of Spanish Universities (C.R.U.E.) The past day 21, the University of Santiago de Compostela in the morning adds to the call of quiet unemployment Wednesday 26 to the 12.00 hours.

DECLARATION OF the CONFERENCE OF DIRECTORS OF the SPANISH UNIVERSITIES (CRUE) the Conference of Directors of the Spanish Universities, reunited in Plenary Assembly in today, has known the attack against the citizenship that has undergone the town of Madrid and, before it, wants to declare:

That the University, scope of respect, freedom, dignity and tolerance, feel it jeopardize in the denunciation of facts like these, lamentably frequent in our democracy, that besides to brutally violate the essential right to the life and integrity of the citizens - and we have undergone in our meats this tragedy supposes an attack to the exercise of the expression of they devised freedom for the democratic construction of our model of social coexistence.

We do not love that the modest one, but signs, expression of our words that, we are safe represents common feeling of students, professors and whatever work in our University Community, is silenced by the prepotent ignorance of few. For that reason, besides to transfer our condolencia and solidarity to the victims and its relatives, we summoned to all our Universities and Centers to quiet unemployment, of 5 minutes of duration, that will take place in all of them simultaneously, the next Wednesday 26 of January at 12 h.

The respect, the reason and the freedom are and will continue being our permanent proposal the Spanish society.
