Estimado amigo Juan, 

me llega a través de la intermediación gallega tu mensaje del viernes 21 con un motivo que me parece bien resaltado, el de la novedad americana de la inciativa indígena durante los últimos años y en los presentes acontecimientos por esas latitudes ecuatorianas. Por aquí la información no puede ser en efecto más deficiente. Incluso la prensa más sensible se muestra incapaz de admitir la posibilidad de dicha actuación autónoma de parte indígena. Habla este periodismo literalmente de cosas como "la indiada" políticamente manipulada por sectores golpistas y sumada a así a "un cuartelazo", lo contrario más bien de lo que ha ocurrido. Por la prensa ecuatoriana que está en internet, como es el caso de "Hoy", no veo que llegue mucha mejor información, aunque naturalmente resulta más detallada. Buena encuentro, pero no al día, por la vía de http://www.nativeweb.org/abyayala/ecuador . Aquí hay datos y documentación sobre la Conaie, Pachakutik, último proceso constituyente, requerimientos contitucionales de parte indígena, como la plurinacionalidad y la autonomía, todo un banco imposible para un periodismo bien situado en el prejuicio cultural de la incapacidad "india", o handicap también, para qué engañarnos, de toda una ciencia social, inclusive en lugar de honor la historiografía. Es banco que está así a la vista, pero en punto ciego. En fin, como ves, me gustaría estar en relación directa, como a través de nuestr@s compañer@s y amig@s historiador@s a quienes debemos y agradezco el contacto.

Dear friend Juan, your message of Friday 21 with a reason that seems to me stood out well, the one for the American new development of the indigenous iniciative arrives to me through the Galician intermediation during the last years and in the present events by those Ecuadorian latitudes. This way the information cannot be in effect more deficient. The most sensible press even is incapable to admit the possibility of this independent performance of indigenous part. East journalism speaks literally of things like " the indiada one " politically manipulated by sectors coup participants and added to thus to " a military revolt ", the opposite rather of which has happened. By the Ecuadorian press that is in Internet, as it is the case of " Today ", I do not see that much better information arrives, although naturally is more detailed.

Here there is data and documentation on the Conaie, Pachakutik, last constituent process, contitucionales requirements of indigenous part, like the multi-nationality and the autonomy, everything a bank impossible for a journalism or located in the cultural prejudice of the incapacity " India ", or handicap also, why to deceive to us, of a whole social science, including instead of honor the historiography. It is bank that is thus at sight, but óclock blind.
