Of course it is necessary to think about world history. But in what ways? Of
course there is a world history today. But this history is not isolated. Without
historical events in single countries or local systems a world history is not
thinkable. Of course you could argue that world politics or world organisations
make their own history, but if you look at the complex system of connections
between countries, regions or even single person, you recognize that a world
history cannot be written without the knowledge of historical events in local
systems.
Alright, next time more.
