El breve análisis expuesto por Aitor Sánchez para calificar al actual régimen como "heredero del Franquismo" ha quedado confirmado con la actitud seguida, tanto por las instituciones públicas españolas, como por los medios de comunicación, a propósito del 70 Aniversario del advenimiento de la II República el pasado 14 de Abril. Las instituciones silencio absoluto. Los medios de comunicación apenas unos minutos o unas líneas para evocar aquel régimen, entreverándolo con visiones de incendios, muchedumbres exaltadas e imágenes de guerra. No hemos visto para nada entrevistas retrospectivas a los líderes republicanos, ni un intento de aproximación didáctico y objetivo al significado de cambio y progreso social que la inspiró. Imágenes en blanco y negro que, en un fugaz repaso, nos proyectan un subliminal mensaje de miedo por el pasado y de satisfacción y conformismo por nuestro sistema institucional presente, ya que para nada se informa sobre aspectos tan fundamentales -como muy bien apunta Aitor- como la legitimidad de un Rey, surgido de una consulta popular capciosa, en 1977, haciendo una "mélange" en donde se ofrecía en el mismo "lote" el final de la Dictadura, la Democracia Parlamentaria, la Libertad y la Monarquía. Eso... o la vuelta a un Franquismo sin Franco. ¿Qué opción se ofreció a los españoles para elegir la forma fundamental del Estado (República o Monarquía)...? Todas estas cuestiones, en un país en donde el conocimiento de la Historia, queda relegado a estrechos ámbitos docentes, con un absoluto desconocimiento social de la historia inmediata, determina la posibilidad de manipular el presente, desde la ocultación y falsificación del pasado. Bueno, tal vez en el primer mail que se mandó a la lista no fui lo suficientemente explícita. Sólo una explicación El mail era una lista que llegó a mi buzón de correo. Sólo escribí lo que aparecía en mayúsculas (y lo hice para tratar de diferenciarlo del mensaje original), y decidí enviarlo a esta lista para darle más difusión, que era lo que pedía el mail. No sé si serán ciertas o no todas las "cosas" que allí se cuentan, pero es bien cierto que es una situación intolerable, la que padecen las afganas y otras muchas mujeres a lo largo y ancho del planeta. No conozco la situación de Afganistán, igual que no conozco la situación de los budas gigantes. Probablemente sean muy poquitos los que sepan cómo está la situación en Afganistán realmente. Yo no, de eso estoy segura. Lo que sí sé es que hasta hace unas décadas estos "señores" eran considerados defensores de la libertad porque luchaban contra la URSS... ¡Vaya con la libertad! Conmigo para este tipo de libertades no cuenten, por favor. Sin más, remarcar que mi intención era sólo dar una difusión mayor a un mail que apareció en mi buzón de correo. Pedí disculpas a la lista por si acaso el tema no era procedente, pero ya que se lanzó una recogida de nombres para evitar la destrucción de los budas, yo aproveché para mandar esa lista. De todas maneras, me atrevería a afirmar que hoy por hoy se puede ser categórico en una afirmación Las mujeres no tenemos igualdad en NINGUNO de los países que actualmente son reconocidos como tales. También reivindico la acción de la ONU. O si no... ¿qué es que las mujeres, o el pueblo afgano en general, vale menos que el petróleo o que la seguridad estratégica de los Balcanes?
