2. IH. Proposal of debate

(27/4/01)

Dear friends

It interests much to raise to a debate on this subject of the Taleban and the women to me of Afghanistan. I have a position mainly this subject, but until I have not found a debate now that arrives until the root of the problem, and the truth is that i myself nonencounter sufficient arguments.

For that reason, I would like to share the debate with you, if there were interest.

The question that I raise is which is the base or the argument to say that that attitude of the Taleban is UNACCEPTABLE?

The human rights? As much Chinese whatever the Islamic East denies those rights and they declare a cultural invention of the West.

The values of freedom and human dignity? Until now what I have read in books of History and Anthropology it is that the cultures have their own systems of values, and that, within each culture, those values must be respected.

The printing that coat of all this is that I do not know why or, better, how or on the basis of what a list can be defended that condemns the Taleban.

Obs In order to avoid badly understood, I am against which the Talebán does and in favor of that is respected the women of Afghanistan. I only want to find convincing arguments, at least convincing to the Taleban.

A hug to all and all

---------------ooooooooOOOOOOOOooooooooo-----------------

In original language,

Estimados amigos
