1. HuD. To Study History 8

(3/2/01)

Before anything, it wanted to present/display to me, are been the last months reading the different debates from the list - all very interesting and never I have sent no. Therefore, this it is first, and I do not know if I am sending it of the correct way. My excuses just in case. I have been licensed in history by the University of Alicante for 3 years, and my work (I have it) it does not have anything to do with history, but I obtained thanks to it to my title.

It wanted to give some reasons to study history, mainly those that served me to me

I also had a professor of history in the institute that she recommended to me to study straight before this race; unfortunately I did case to him, and I lost a year of my life studying a race that did not contribute absolutely anything to my personal formation, but all the opposite it made me lose the hope in the society in which it lived; perhaps that was only the good thing of that experience.

The main reason to study history is not you compensate them labor, nor the economic ones, but the possibility of approaching the understanding of the world that surrounds to you with an ample perspective, perhaps amplest than offers the university scope at the moment. Knowing what I know -although is little-, I have had the opportunity of not letting to me deceive by mass media, the political and economic reality and the false amorality of this society. Certain it is that more poor devil has served to me to do a little to me, but I can at least judge by same me, and even be mistaken, but by anything of the world it would change not even what I know, by a good labor position it would be changing it by the universal blindness.

The good thing for studying history is that you have the possibility of knowing, or at least acercarte a little to the human being like social and individual assembly, to include/understand as were the causes of their acts, and to analyze their consequences... and why no to judge it; although it is at personal level.

To study history has made me include/understand things that before not even knew that they existed, and I believe that that is important.

In original language,
