Yes I agree in which there is to recover the memory of the civil war and which those must be the investigating young people who of objective way, without enthusiasms of no side, see what happened in the prewarlike Spain (that as much explains the war although it does not justify it) and how it was developed to the fight and the Francoism. There are still many sources without consulting the File of the Civil War is still a nonunpublished place of reference but with many more possibilities of looking for in the existing documentation.

Hopefully we wake up the historical interest of the young people and we do it with scientific rigor, without malentendidos and that passion that can cause new confrontations in a Spain that mainly inclines by the respect and the democracy. Greetings to all and good return to the habitual work.

Sí estoy de acuerdo en que hay que recuperar la memoria de la guerra civil y que deben ser los jóvenes investigadores los que de manera objetiva, sin apasionamientos de ningún lado, vean qué sucedió en la españa prebélica (que tanto explica la guerra aunque no la justifique) y cómo se desarrolló la contienda y el franquismo. Hay todavía muchas fuentes sin consultar el Archivo de la Guerra Civil es todavía un lugar de referencia no inédito pero sí con muchas más posibilidades de buscar en la documentación existente.

Ojalá despertemos el interés histórico de los jóvenes y lo hagamos con rigor científico, sin malentendidos y sin esa pasión que puede provocar nuevos enfrentamientos en una españa que mayoritariamente se inclina por el respeto y la democracia. Saludos a todos y buena vuelta al trabajo habitual.

It would wish that in next year 2001 there was not necessity to speak of the confrontation between Israel and Palestine. Like historian and from Spain, the things see a little different that in the place from the conflict. Immediate history needs a reflection that now is not possible to do because what counts, first of all, they are the deads and the pain the towns is incommensurable. Only one position of true pacification between that they direct of a form or another one, the fight could take to an understanding that is difficult and complex. Nobody has the absolute truth nor the absolute reason. Both parts must yield but the problem is until where and when. The violence only generates more violence. Justice, the fairness, the understanding, the respected beliefs, is necessary elements in this situation which exit is not seen if authentic will of understanding does not exist. That in the 2001 we pruned to celebrate La Paz

Desearía que en el próximo año 2001 no hubiera necesidad de hablar del enfrentamiento entre Israel y Palestina. Como historiadora y desde España, las cosas se ven un poco diferentes que en el lugar del conflicto. La historia inmediata necesita de una reflexión que ahora no es posible hacer porque lo que se cuenta, ante todo, son los muertos y el dolor de los pueblos es inconmensurable. Sólo una postura de verdadera pacificación entre los que dirigen de una forma u otro, la lucha podría llevar a un entendimiento que se ve difícil y complejo. Nadie tiene la verdad absoluta ni la razón absoluta. Ambas partes deben ceder pero el problema es hasta dónde y cuándo. La violencia sólo genera más violencia. La justicia, la equidad, el entendimiento, las creencias respetadas, son elementos necesarios en esta situación a la que no se ve salida si no existe voluntad auténtica de entendimiento. Que en el 2001 podamos celebrar la paz.
