Sometimes we forgot that the best and but effective school, is in the street. THOUSAND of streets and seats, escultóricos groups, institutions official (and deprived), sport facilities and until whole units (for example the Armor division "Brunete") ejemplarizan with effectiveness personages and values that sank to Spain in the long night of the pro-Franco dictatorship. There they follow, without it seems that much it concerns in the long run list to him of the teaching as a whole.

It would be worth the trouble to dedicate to a collective effort of teachers and professors, to demand to end of once this incongruous situation, that neutralizes as much scientific effort. and moral.?

En la carrera hacia el olvido, no parece que el esfuerzo de tantos historiadores e investigadores de la Guerra Civil, del "arco democrático" en la interpretación de la misma, ganen espacio en la carrera hacia la falsificación y/o el olvido de los valores que en aquella se enfrentaron (tal como afirma en su Manifiesto "El combate por la Historia" del prof. Xavier Díez).

Los sesudos trabajos, las plúmbeas enciclopedias, los "tochos" documentadísimos e intragables que doctos divinos de la Historia Oficial (y de la Otra), han venido publicando hasta hoy, son vencidos aparatosamente en la vertiente social de su trabajo (la que tiene que ver con créditos ni currículum, aquella que debería ejercer su acción docente y educativa sobre la sociedad civil, mecenas -con sus impuestos- y destinataria última de los esfuerzos), todo este alarde de sudoroso proyecto no sirve de nada, cuando en el subsconsciente del alumno se van posando, día a día, los "anticuerpos anti-democráticos" que genera el conflicto de recibir mensajes tan contrarios como el que recibe en su centro educativo, al atravesar cada mañana bajo el dintel un cartel en el que se lee (p.ej.) Instituto de Educación Secundaria "FRANCISCO FRANCO".

A veces olvidamos que la mejor y mas eficaz escuela, está en la calle. MILES de calles y plazas, grupos escultóricos, instituciones oficiales (y privadas), instalaciones deportivas y hasta unidades enteras (por

ejemplo la División Acorazada "Brunete") ejemplarizan con eficacia personajes y valores que sumieron a España en la larga noche de la dictadura franquista. Ahí siguen, sin que parezca que mucho le importa a la larga nómina del magisterio en su conjunto.

¿Valdría la pena dedicar un esfuerzo colectivo de maestros y profesores, para exigir acabar de una vez con esta incongruente situación, que neutraliza tanto esfuerzo científico. y moral..?

Este pregunta me la hago cada mañana, cuando frente al balcón de mi estudio leo "IES J.IBAÑEZ MARTIN" (el ministro de Franco responsable del programa de fusilamientos, encarcelamiento y depuración de miles de maestros y profesores, tras la guerra civil.
