Querido amigos de El Salvador, No es fácil imaginar cómo puede cada uno de nosotros, individualmente, ayudar a la recomposición de la Biblioteca Gallardo (una vez más parecería que el que organiza los terremotos y otras catástrofes sabe muy bien elegir). Sin embargo, sería sencillo que en cada universidad (u otra instituciones) se concentrase la ayuda proviniente de tales universidades, que a veces tienen fondos duplicados, departamentos de publicaciones con restos de ediciones etc. A ello habrían de añadirse aportaciones individuales o de cualquier otro género. Sería mucho más fácil hacerla llegar a su destino. Os deseamos mucho ánimo y éxito en vuestra reconstrucción. Sería interesante conocer, también, vuestras deficiencias o preferencias.
