I was of those more or less shining students in the Bachelor, who welcomed of good affability subjets like History, Art, Mathematics, Drawing... and, although long ago, still memory the magical moment of the selection... and seems " that I fell so low " as to end up licensing to me in Economic... The truth is that I try to stay informed " because the knowledge of the past helps us to include/understand the present and to transform the future ", but that has not prevented me to find the passion by subjects more practitioners (than greater practicidad than to take the food to the mouth), and the Economy also is it, and it allows to predict, to notice it us the future and to even correct it, and can go very well accompanied of History, can and it must, are even intermingled and they are not understood one without the other... It is not necessary "to invoke the sagradas cows" to give answer to the candidates to dedicate itself to History, even the people who we are outside the university scope, and who day to day we fought con/contra the "vile metal" we needed to know and to include/understand our surroundings, and if now we needed computer science economists, engineers and... as much empirismo will leave a good hollow for other profesiones/vocaciones/devociones... will arise the necessity to understand, to include/understand... Estimados compañeros todos, Llevo unas semanas leyendo con gran atención todos los debates que están presentes en la lista; llegado este momento espero que aceptéis a una intrusa que ve como puede o pudo afectarle la pregunta ¿dame una buena razón para estudiar Historia?,... Yo era de esas alumnas más o menos brillantes en el Bachiller, que acogía de buen agrado asignaturas como Historia, Arte, Matemáticas, Dibujo,... y, aunque hace mucho tiempo, todavía recuerdo el mágico momento de la elección,... y parece "que caí tan bajo" como para acabar licenciándome en Económicas,... La verdad es que procuro mantenerme informada "porque el conocimiento del pasado nos ayuda a comprender el presente y transformar el futuro", pero eso no me ha impedido encontrar la pasión por asuntos más prácticos (que mayor practicidad que llevar el alimento a la boca), y la Economía también lo es, y nos permite predecir el futuro, advertirlo e incluso corregirlo, y puede ir muy bien acompañada de la Historia, puede y debe, incluso se entremezclan y no se entienden una sin la otra,... No hace falta "invocar a las vacas sagradas" para darle respuesta a los candidatos a dedicarse a la Historia, incluso las personas que estamos fuera del ámbito universitario, y que día a día luchamos con/contra el "vil metal" necesitamos conocer y comprender nuestro entorno, y si ahora necesitamos economistas, ingenieros e informáticos,... tanto empirismo dejará un buen hueco para otras profesiones/vocaciones/devociones,... surgirá la necesidad de entender, de comprender,... Señores, seguro que ustedes me entienden y disculpen el intrusismo, pero no cansen en su labor diaria,... además por qué tiene que haber alguna razón concreta para estudiar Historia,...,... Eva López
