Colisteros beloveds First of all, a great hug to each one of You and the desire of peace and prosperity for the new millenium. Secondly, I want to talk about to the " historical barbarisms ". Often these come from the desactualización to discipline of the educational ones. A clear example constitutes the subject of the primitive inhabitants of my Province, San Luis. An important number of which today teaches History, continues applying a division of the territory in four perfectly demarcated zones that locate to PAMPAS to the south, the COMECHINGONES to the east, the OLONGASTAS to the north and the HUARPES to the west and center. From principles of the ' 80 one knows that these last ones in fact did not inhabit our ground before the arrival of the Spaniards but who they were brought by them by virtue of the system of charges (them " they had been entrusted " in Mendoza, founded city before San Luis). The studies that I invoke come from the University of San Juan, in individual, of the Lic. Teresa Michieli, who presented/displayed them here in Days on Prehistoria of San Luis in 1986, nevertheless, I reiterate, is continued teaching according to the proposal of Canals Frau of years ' 50.

I agree totally with that they have thought in this section that the " barbarisms " are not for taking a smile to us, but to reframe to us in depth the form in which we worked.

Queridos colisteros

Ante todo, un gran abrazo a cada uno de Uds. y el deseo de paz y prosperidad para el nuevo milenio.

En segundo lugar, quiero referirme a las "barbaridades históricas". Muchas veces éstas provienen de la desactualización disciplinar de los docentes. Un ejemplo claro lo constituye el tema de los primitivos habitantes de mi Provincia, San Luis. Un número importante de los que hoy enseñan Historia, siguen aplicando una división del territorio en cuatro zonas perfectamente demarcadas que ubican a los PAMPAS al sur, los COMECHINGONES al este, los OLONGASTAS al norte y los HUARPES al oeste y centro. Desde principios de los '80 se sabe que estos últimos en realidad no habitaban nuestro suelo antes de la llegada de los españoles sino que fueron traídos por ellos en virtud del sistema de encomiendas (les habían sido "encomendados" en Mendoza, ciudad fundada antes que San Luis). Los estudios que invoco provienen de la Universidad de San Juan, en particular, de la Lic. Teresa Michieli, quien los presentó aquí en unas Jornadas sobre Prehistoria de San Luis en el año 1986, sin embargo, reitero, se sigue enseñando según la propuesta de Canals Frau de los años '50.

Coincido plenamente con los que han opinado en esta sección que las "barbaridades" no son para arrancarnos una sonrisa, sino para replantearnos en profundidad la forma en que trabajamos.
