| Dear friends It is clear that the
problem of the "historical objectivity" forces to us
to debate... because does not exist such objectivity! The
objectivity of course constitutes "to have to be", but
we almost always watched history from our own present time, and
then we already stopped being objective. Mainly when we worked
with periods or historical processes of our own countries.
Teachers of the Latin American Historiography as Germán Carrera
Ladies still makes the call to their disciples about the
objectivity in education and the historical investigation. I
investigate and am educational in history and from my experience
I say that it is almost impossible to work history with
objectivity in absolute sense.

Queridos amigos Está claro que el problema de la "objetividad histórica" nos obliga a debatir...¡porque no existe tal objetividad! La objetividad constituye por supuesto un "deber ser", pero casi siempre miramos la historia desde nuestra propia actualidad, y ya entonces dejamos de ser objetivos. Sobre todo cuando trabajamos con períodos o procesos históricos de nuestros propios países. Maestros de la Historiografía latinoamericana como Germán Carrera Damas hace aún el llamado a sus discípulos acerca de la objetividad en la enseñanza y en la investigación histórica. Yo investigo y soy docente en historia y desde mi experiencia digo que es casi imposible trabajar la historia con objetividad en sentido absoluto. Diana Rengifo
