It wanted to indicate in the first place that the direction has disappointed me towards which the debate has been directed. When I read the subject, "invented traditions", were on the awares to me, because I have been a year working in a subject that keeps very many relation regional histories of the north of Spain in second half of the XVII. It hoped to find opinions about the hobsbawmniano concept of "tradition invented", as well as to historiográficos myths pre-scientists like essential part of the génesis of the imaginary nationalist, commentaries on the great Hispanic falsarios (Roman of the Fig tree, Lupián Zapata, the inventors of the plomos of the Sacromonte...) and proHispanic (Annio de Viterbo), etc. But what I found it was a esteril debate on the paper of the Church in the history of the humanity in terms of "was very good" or "she was very bad".

I would like that those subjects were touched all that I have indicated previously and others more than are arising little by little.

P.S. the subject of the jacobeas traditions is very interesting, as well as those of the Pillar, and their analysis does not have to be fitted to the ecclesiastical plane both myths work like integrating element of the Spanish colectivity at modern time, and very were rooted in the popular mentality, not by imposition of the Church. Local, personal, state interests... come together in the invention of traditions.

Antes que nada, me gustaría enviar un saludo a todos los que participais en este foro, al cual me incorporo hoy por primera vez.

Quisiera señalar en primer lugar que me ha decepcionado la dirección hacia la que se ha encaminado el debate. Cuando leí el tema, "tradiciones inventadas", se me abrieron los ojos, pues llevo un año trabajando en un tema que guarda muchísima relación las historias regionales del norte de España en la segunda mitad del XVII. Esperaba encontrar opiniones acerca del concepto hobsbawmniano de "tradición inventada", así como a los mitos historiográficos pre-científicos como parte esencial de la génesis del imaginario nacionalista, comentarios sobre los grandes falsarios hispanos (Román de la Higuera, Lupián Zapata, los inventores de los plomos del Sacromonte...) y prohispanos (Annio de Viterbo), etc.

Pero lo que encontré fue un esteril debate sobre el papel de la Iglesia en la historia de la humanidad en términos de "fue muy buena" o "fue muy mala".

Me gustaría que se tocasen todos esos temas que he señalado anteriormente y otros más que vayan surgiendo poco a poco.

P.S. el tema de las tradiciones jacobeas es muy interesante, así como las del Pilar, y su análisis no debe ceñirse al plano eclesiástico ambos mitos funcionan como elemento integrador de la colectividad española en época moderna, y estaban muy arraigados en la mentalidad popular, no por imposición de la Iglesia. Intereses locales, personales, estatales... confluyen en la invención de tradiciones.
