La Historia que tú pretendes "ajena a toda ideología e independiente de todo poder" es una falacia absurda difícil de sostener. ¿Qué grupo y qué investigador/a carece de margo ideológico? ¿Los acontecimientos ocurren porque sí? Por eso, como decía el gran Edward H. Carr, debemos conocer de qué pie cojea cada historiador/a, además del contextualizar los hechos. Lo básico de la Historia es la interpretación y la comprensión, no la descripción. Es una riqueza enorme y un logro relativamente reciente el que podamos disfrutar de la libertad de cátedra que incluye una libertad metodológica, de investigación y pedagógica.
