Friends of HaD Respect to the subject Journalism and History, as we are all related to this science, I do not believe that he needs to teorizar about the importance of this activity, thus I am sent to tell that I have initiated a work of investigation on Journalism in the City of Esquel, Patagonia Argentina, towards half-full of century. A breviary of that investigation in march, with provisory results, already was sent to a paragónica university magazine for a possible publication, previous acceptance by the Publishing Committee. I add a summary of the work, for that can interest to him to connect itself and to share information. Jorge Oriola This article is an advance of an investigation on esquelense journalism, towards 1950. Their reaches in a city are described that isolated respect to great centers of being able, with a reduced population and high indices of illiteracy but a class leader pawned on breaking this isolation and affirming its power. The valley happens between 1900 and 1950 of a natural state to an active center of farming commercial concentration. The sectors leaders find in the media an expression to their necessities and reclamations to the State. Of many journalistic means, weekly-newspaper ESQUEL is most representative. Its style is analyzed and specially the Edition 25º Anniversary, in 1950, dedicated to the same one and the city. Is compared it with one of few means of smaller reach, denouncer of upsettings and an antagonistic style. This means, the SPARK, characterize by the presence of Osvaldo Bayer in its notes and their ideological dispute with the director-proprietor of the ESQUEL, Luis Feldman Josin.

Amigos de HaD Respecto del tema Periodismo e Historia, como somos todos ligados a esta ciencia, no creo que necesite teorizar acerca de la importancia de dicha actividad, por lo cual me remito a contar que he iniciado un trabajo de investigación sobre Periodismo en la Ciudad de Esquel, Patagonia Argentina, hacia mediados de siglo. Un breviario de esa investigación en marcha, con resultados provisorios, ya fue remitida a una revista universitaria paragónica para una eventual publicación, previa aceptación por el Comité Editorial. Agrego un resumen del trabajo, para quien le pueda interesar conectarse y compartir informaciones. Jorge Oriola Este artículo es un avance de una investigación sobre periodismo esquelense, hacia 1950. Se describen sus alcances en una ciudad que aislada respecto de grandes centros de poder, con una población reducida y altos índices de analfabetismo pero una clase dirigente empeñada en quebrar dicho aislamiento y afirmar su poder. El valle pasa entre 1900 y 1950 de un estado natural a un activo centro de concentración comercial- agropecuario. Los sectores dirigentes encuentran en el periodismo una expresión a sus necesidades y reclamos al Estado. De muchos medios periodísticos, el semanario-diario ESQUEL es el más representativo. Se analiza su estilo y especialmente la Edición 25º Aniversario, en 1950, dedicado al mismo y a la ciudad. Se lo compara con uno de los pocos medios de menor alcance, denunciante de atropellos y un estilo antagónico. Este medio, LA CHISPA, se caracteriza por la presencia de Osvaldo Bayer en sus notas y su disputa ideológica con el director-propietario del ESQUEL, Luis Feldman Josin.
