A greeting, companions of history to debate. On this subject of journalism and History, gustaria to say that it is something to me much more near us of which it can perish to us. Not only, because the press is a documentary material very used by the historians for our investigation on the past, but so that the press when trying to notify of which it happens in the society and the world, resorts frequently to the past, to explain things that happen at the present time. Therefore the Media and history estan more near which many think. If we are in agreement in which it stops to give, or better to explain the news that every time with more rapidity follow one another and appear in the press is necessary to give explanation of things of the past, something that I create fundamental is the participation of historians in the processing of the news, and in the explanation of them. The media needs historians, but to not only write opinion articles, but that works in him of active form, journalist-historians, who help to clarify the news that the press transmits the society. Un saludo, compañeros de historia a debate. Sobre este tema de periodismo e Historia, me gustaria decir que es algo mucho más cercano a nosotros de lo que nos pueda perecer. No sólo, porque la prensa sea un material documental muy utilizado por los historiadores para nuestra investigación sobre el pasado, sino por que la prensa al pretender dar noticia de lo que ocurre en la sociedad y en el mundo, recurre con frecuencia al pasado, para explicar cosas que suceden en la actualidad. Por lo tanto el Periodismo y la historia estan más cerca de lo que muchos piensan. Si estamos de acuerdo en que para dar, o mejor para explicar las noticias que cada vez con más rapidez se suceden y aparecen en la prensa es necesario dar explicación de cosas del pasado, algo que creo fundamental es la participación de historiadores en la elaboración de las noticias, y en la explicación de ellas. El periodismo necesita historiadores, pero no sólo para escribir artículos de opinión, sino que trabajen en él de forma activa, periodistas-historiadores, que ayuden a esclarecer las noticias que la prensa transmite a la sociedad.
