Dear Carlos The contemporary globalización offers one nourished range of opportunities for the growth and improvement of the historiography. Internet and all its aggregates facilitate the development of the interchange of opinions between historical investigators, as before it had never been seen. The times and the spaces have been reduced or, virtually, almost they let exist. If a global catastrophe does not take place, we will attend a calm revolution that will radically change the forms " to make " history, with deep repercuciones in the " artisan tasks " of the investigativo act and in the diffusion of historiográficos products. By the previous thing, as soon as it concerns to the office of historiar or to the one of educational, the best attitude is not the one of demonizar the globalización, but taking advantage of its advantages. Estimado Carlos La globalización contemporánea ofrece una nutrida gama de oportunidades para el crecimiento y mejoramiento de la historiografía. Internet y todos sus agregados facilitan el desarrollo del intercambio de opiniones entre investigadores históricos, como nunca antes se había visto. Los tiempos y los espacios se han reducido o, virtualmente, casi dejaron de existir. Si no se produce una catástrofe global, asistiremos a una revolución tranquila que cambiará radicalmente las formas de "hacer" la historia, con profundas repercuciones en las "tareas artesanales" del acto investigativo y en la difusión de los productos historiográficos. Por lo anterior, en cuanto atañe al oficio de historiar o al de docente, la mejor actitud no es la de demonizar la globalización, sino aprovechar sus ventajas. Sin embargo, resaltar este aspecto positivo no descarta reconocer los rostros indeseables del proceso globalizador, sobre todo en cuanto atañe a ciertos ámbitos económicos y sociales Milton Augusto Zambrano Pérez
