Hello! I only want to comment that I am in agreement with the idea of not forgetting the present. In fact, he is truely exasperating that exists many historians (highly even known) who take refuge only in the past, without tying this one last one with the present, in such a way that its investigations, independently of which they are very rich to understand aspects of passed societies, stop being useful for the present society and, with it, they make seem that History is a science for which they do not have anything to do and must occupy its time in peculiar things. Like Javier Fernandez Palaces [ message nº 10 ], I believe that one is due to rescue the study and the analysis of the present (although it is necessary to lean in the past) to construct what all we want better futuro. Hola! Sólo quiero comentar que estoy de acuerdo con la idea de no olvidar el presente. De hecho, es verdaderamente desesperante que existen muchos historiadores (incluso altamente conocidos) que se refugian sólo en el pasado, sin vincular éste último con el presente, de tal manera que sus investigaciones, independientemente de que sean muy ricas para entender aspectos de sociedades pasadas, dejan de ser útiles para la sociedad actual y, con ello, hacen parecer que la Historia es una ciencia para los que no tienen nada que hacer y deben ocupar su tiempo en cosas curiosas. Al igual que Javier Fernández Palacios [mensaje nº 10], creo que se debe rescatar el estudio y el análisis del presente (si bien es necesario apoyarse en el pasado) para construir lo que todos queremos un mejor futuro.
