Cómo valoraría desde su posición de profesora universitaria la recepción de Historia a Debate y su manifiesto historiográfico en Perú? U aspecto interesante ha sido su inclusión en el libro de Liliana Regalado. Asimismo, e interés por inscribirse en la lista de HAD de estudiantes y profesores de Lima y provincias es también una muestra del interés que ha despertado esta alternativa en nuestro país
Cómo es la relación de la historiografía peruana con las otras historiografías latinas y con la Europea. Como consideraría su situación, como historiografía dependiente o que busca su modelo propio. Ha afectado la última evolución política de Perú en los historiadores de alguna manera? Han vivido estos el compromiso de alguna forma? Gracias. En cada una de ellas podemos señalar ciertos elementos a) el peso importante que tuvo el gobierno revolucionario de Velasco Alvarado b) los cambios en las tendencias de investigación , resultado del cambio en las estructuras de la sociedad peruana (reforma agraria, migració por ejemplo) c) el impacto de una izquierda más radical en el recinto universitario d) el efecto del terrorismo en las universidades y en la imagen que se ofreció del quehacer universitario e) el poco apoyo del gobierno a las universidades A lo anterior, se pueden agregar otras situaciones la extrema pobreza que ha aumentado en los últimos años, las dificultades para las tareas de docencia e investigación En conclusión podríamos decir que los historiadores han vivido y viven todavía su compromiso persdonal y profesional en un país que está tratando de recomponerse y dar respuesta a muchas de las interrogantes que plantea una herencia pluriétnica y multicultural. En primer lugar, solamente a partir de los años 60 se ha manifestado un mayor interés por la realización de balances historiográficos, lo que existía básicamente era dar a conocer un estado de la cuestión sumamente breve del tema analizado. Ha habido cierto interés en la década de los 60 por la historiografía de los Annales Asimismo, la importancia del marxismo se ha hecho notar antes y después de esa fecha. En cuanto al período que le interesa, todavía no ha sido materia de un estudio profundo y solamente hay algunos trabajos breves. Sin embargo, considero que como todo avance técnico tiene aspectos muy favorables pero asimismo plantea interrogantes sobre su seguridad, validez y proyecciones.
