The question made by Zaira is very pertinent similarity to me and more interesting still the answers that have occurred it. More than arguments in favor or against "studying history" nonhistory has resorted to personal experiences or touching questions so that it studied or. It is clear that each one got to study (or not) history by different reasons and that the reasons for each one do not have to be moral or practically superior to the one of the others. And it is an error to think that the reasons for are used for others, etc. I do not know if I agree or not with the reasons that the members of the list indicate to him to Zaira to study history. But it is that that does not matter either. Zaira will read (or not) and she will judge. I am not going to resort to any topic of the argumentario and to bring it to the list to enumerate some reason for which Zaira must (or not) study history. Me ha parecido muy pertinente la pregunta realizada por Zaira y más interesantes todavía las respuestas que se la han dado. Más que argumentos en favor o en contra de "estudiar historia" se ha recurrido a vivencias personales o a cuestiones emotivas para que estudiase o no historia. Está claro que cada uno llegó a estudiar (o no) historia por diferentes motivos y que los motivos de cada uno no tienen que ser moral o prácticamente superiores al de los otros. Y es un error pensar que los motivos de unos sirven para otros, etc. No sé si coincido o no con los motivos que los miembros de la lista le indican a Zaira para estudiar historia. Pero es que tampoco eso importa. Zaira los leerá (o no) y ella juzgará. No voy a recurrir a ningún tópico del argumentario y traerlo a la lista para enumerar alguna razón por la que Zaira debe (o no) de estudiar historia. Lo que pienso, Zaira, es que debes de leer todas las opiniones que se han vertido desde HaD y que espero que te ayuden. Pero no sólo lee éstas; lee muchas más. Y lo más importante. No tomes el consejo de nadie. Léelos todos y decide. Pero decide tú. No dejes que nadie decida por ti. Por eso si quieres lo primero que debes hacer es borrar este mensaje y no hacerme caso. Aunque constato que no me han llegado los demas textos sobre la Conquista señalo que a lo dicho por Juan Antonio Ordoñez se puede añadir la siguiente pregunta ¿Han pedido perdón los diferentes gobiernos de América (Latina y Sajona) por el exterminio de los indígenas en los siglos XIX y XX? Exterminio a veces planificado a sangre fría, con tropas y cañones y otras con disimulo con alcohol y tierras inservibles. Carlos Freile.-
